You Need to Get Online!
Soon enough every business will be online. This trend is finally getting through to business owners as they understand more and more the importance of the internet. The internet is a medium which can be exploited to uncover extreme profits for any company. Even though there are many companies that are solely offline making it happen, imagine if they were all online, where they can find real targeted leads.
Everyone is online, everyone has a computer. Why not have a website so you can be found by millions of potential prospects. Unfortunately the traditional advertising such as yellow pages, newspaper, and tv are declining if not already dead and gone. Although there may be some boomers which choose to still use the yellow pages for some services. Regardless you should conform to change and reach out another way.
What are you afraid of? Honestly, when I hear a company is making a million dollars a year without having a website, or only using viral marketing (word of mouth), it befuddles me.
I know kids that sell lemonade with websites. If you have a popular business name that is being shipped through the ears of potential clients, they will want to know more. Yes some will call, but before that they usually go online.
Speaking from experience, I always go online to find out more. Come to think of it, just about everyone I know goes straight to this medium to gain some of that good old fashion knowledge.
Being on the first page of google is indeed good, but it will not give you amazing results if you are not ready to take on more customers.
Depending on the business, being on first page will or will not benefit you greatly. Regardless, with direct marketing efforts, offline and online will greatly increase sales.
The internet is the new yellow pages believe it or not. It's up to you to get updated with the newest marketing waves.
